Setting Up

On the printer

  • Configure wireless via the touch screen - i.e. just give it the ESSID it needs to connect to with password.

  • You can print the wireless details

  • Take note of the Bonjour name for the printer, this should get auto-discovered by computers

Kubuntu

  • Turn on the Printer!

  • Add a printer

  • Click on the Bonjour named printer

  • Use the IPP-DNS-SD connection

  • Choose the hpcups driver (not the driverless or foomatic versions)

  • No labels
